As musicians, the journey never ends. You’re always trying to be better at your craft, always exploring new ways to approach certain things in music, and forever growing and learning. Every once in a while, you begin to see results of your hard work and it begins to pay off. Instrumentals show off the ability of players that are ACES on their craft and allow for improvisation that comes straight from the heart! When I hear an amazing solo, or a well written melody, it drives me to want to create my own.

The collection of songs on this project are nothing more than simply sitting down with your instrument and seeing what comes out! It doesn’t always turn into a piece of music, but when an idea is developed and shared with the caliber of players that are on this project, it is such a thrill! My prayer and aim through these songs is that they move the listener as much as they move me.
